Blu ray Disc also called as BD is the latest Optical Disk storage medium used to store data. They have 50GB data storage per disc. Blu-ray comes from Blue laser that is used to read/write on this disk. More data can be stored in Blu-ray when compared with other DVD since they use shorter wavelength. Blu ray disc stores about 6 times the space used in normal DVD.
